Arthur B. Williams, a phenomenal working mom, broke down barriers for African American women throughout her life. As the first female African American City Councilor and Justice of the Peace in Wichita Falls, she was a true pioneer. Her dedication to the city’s children, even after retirement, earned her accolades and recognition as a legend of North Texas.
